Jack

Jack Connelly graduated from Curtin University in 2014 and entered the private practice sector where he has since founded Roar Physiotherapy and continues to practice. He dedicates himself to improving his skill-set and particularly enjoys the coaching aspect of musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy.

Jack has always been active and participated in a variety of sports, such as rowing and rugby. In conjunction with sport, he has spent close to 15 years training in the gym and testing out the myriad of different training styles (e.g., body-building, powerlifting, Olympic lifting, CrossFit). Jack has recently taken more of an interest in martial arts through training Brazilian Ju-Jitsu. These interests have led to many injuries and periods of rehab, which have provided useful experiences from a patient perspective.

As such, Jack’s passion is treating clients to assist them in reducing their pain and restore function through exercise rehabilitation. Jack prides himself on working alongside coaches and other health professionals to provide best-practice patient care.

Jack has completed additional qualifications including; strength and conditioning coaching and Olympic weightlifting coaching, where he is most passionate.

Jack enjoys keeping up to date with the latest research in Physiotherapy and Exercise Rehabilitation and aims to implement these into his practice. Jack’s goal is to educate clients on the potential mechanisms which contribute to developing pain and injury; provide solutions for complete rehabilitation and aim to reduce future recurrence.
